Christmas Away from Home

Its December again!
I love winter...but this year the coldness of the weather bring blues on me.
I love to hear Christmas songs ..but lately it become noise to my ears
I love writing my shopping list..but until now I don't have it yet
I love shopping for gifts ...but now I feel like I'm always tired
Maybe I'm just not that excited on the coming holidays...
Maybe I'm just exhausted of some other priorities...
Maybe I'm just really tired...
But one things I am sure...
I will miss my loved ones this Christmas

Something to Ponder: LONELINESS

If there's one thing to expect when you are away from home & loved ones that is LONELINESS.
Working abroad is not easy as it sounds. There are times that you will experience homesickness and much more when Yuletide season is coming...the " Christmas Blues".
Ever since I moved here in Doha to work I can't help to miss my friends even I have chance to chat with them, I still miss those times that we are personally chatting, laughing & even sometimes crying with one another. Although I have friends here I'm still longing the comfort and companions of my so long life called friends. But I must learn and take first the things that I have on my hand at this moment.
Let me share you what I've got this morning from my mail
Although loneliness is painful, it isn't always a bad place to be for a time. C.S. Lewis said "God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks to us in our conscience, but shouts in our pain: it is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world."
God definitely spoke to us in our loneliness. And I started wondering if perhaps there are times when God allows loneliness into our lives as an invitation to pursue Him as our closest friend. When our friends have left us, or we have left them, God reveals His presence in new ways. Tim Hansel, author of Through the Wilderness of Loneliness writes, "Loneliness is not a time of just feels that way. It's actually a time of encounter at new levels with the only One who can fill that empty place in our hearts."
God longs to fill our hearts with Himself. Yet we often try to fill the desires of our hearts with the things of this world. We also discover those attempts to find replacements for God are fleeting and insubstantial, leaving us even lonelier than before.

As you face a time of loneliness, take this opportunity to look to Jesus as a best friend. Jesus Himself calls us friends in John 15:15, "I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you."
Even though we were designed for community, God has a purpose for loneliness. If we can learn from it, rather than resent it, I believe we'll find a life-long Friend who'll never leave us lonely.

Dear Lord,
Thank you for being my Friend...a friend who will never leave me. Lord, teach me how to make the best out of my loneliness. Amen

Happy Relationship

"You can only have a happy relationships if you have a happy self love" - Bo Sanchez
In order for us to love someone we must learn to love ourselves first. Search, find, and love yourself first before loving others.

My E-Inspirations

All of us has our own inspirations. They are the people who we look up to or admire. We may know them personally like our family, friends, colleagues or mentors. But sometimes there are some people na di natin kilala personally but we admire them and become our inspiration; they may be a famous actors, tough broadcasters, prominent writers, etc.
I want to you to meet my inspirations. People who I don't know personally and surely they don't know me as well....hehehe but inspired and encouraged me to strive more to be a better me. I just met them all in "e-world" just a click you can meet them too.
Meet Lysa TerKeurst: Leading Women in Adventure of Faith

I met her through "Encouragement Today", an e-ministry's devotions mail. I am already more than 1 year ng subscriber ng ET but just recently I was able to noticed that each topic they sent to me has different authors. I was really blessed when I read their article entitled "Rejection" and found out its writer name. Yeah..she is Lysa and immediately visited her website. Visiting her site is now a part of my regular surfing routine. If you want her to be a part of your everyday life as well, you can visit her in:
Meet Bianca Gonzales: Supergirl Wannabe
I am not a fanatic by nature but I was really impressed with Bianca. Not all artist who are actively seen on tv is as sensible as her. Sensible not only doing her job in hosting or acting but as a person when she's off cam. Oh di ba sounds we really close to each other hehehe. She was introduced to me by my cousin Leslie a year ago but not personally but through blogger. Since her blogs was five years old then I need to read all of it from the start so I can relate to her future blogs. Good I did, coz I had a chance to her better. She's really beautiful inside & out and not only an artist but a samaritan in her own way. She inspired me that if I really want to help others I can do something even in my own litte way.
Meet ShopCrazy: Boost Your Shopping Smarts
Like any other girls, I love shopping sooo much! but I get even more head over heels enjoy it if I got all the items in a cheap price. When I started working here abroad one of the thing that I missed is my Cosmopolitan magazine collections. And since the country where I am now is prohibiting that kind of magazine, I consulted the net if I can subscribe the same in the net. And at last I did...yeah its the "shopcrazy" . It is an influential shopping blog under Female Network that currently has a base of almost 13,000 hardcore shopping aficionados. It covers the latest products and services coming out in Metro Manila in a variety of categories (fashion, beauty, home, gadgets, food, lifestyle services, and kids). You can never go out on what is the hip on Philippine fashion with SC. So be inspired to be a Pinay fashionista even away from home.
Meet Bo Sanchez: The Preacher on Jeans
I know Bo since my college days, I am an avid reader of his books like what I have "To Date or Not To Date". His books tackles realistic issues and situations in ones life plus the soulfood that he always offered. Reading his blogs and other writings really inspired to go on and reach my dreams and most especially search myself on what is my purpose here. I received a worthy reading article from an officemate and on the last line I saw that is from Bo. Now I can take the soulfood he's serving not only to the books but even in just a click .
Inspirations may be from the person we know personally and we can visibly seen but since we are now in technie era they are just a click away.
Be inspired and encouraged in just a click!

Omit "MAYBE"

As a person we usually asked ourselves so many "what if'". We are sometimes convince ourselves of so many "maybe" for us to feel better and secure. But have you ever told to yourself that the only way to escape to those what if's and maybe's is to accept the fact that all in this world has its own purpose?
Here are some of the "maybe's" that surely turns into an affirmation if we will only learn the essence of acceptance. Omit all the "maybe" and read it over and over. Hope you will see and feel the difference
(Maybe) we were supposed to meet the
wrong people before meeting the right

one so that, when we finally meet the
right person, we will know how to be
grateful for that gift.

(Maybe) it is true that we don't
know what we have until we lose it,

but it is also true that we don't know
what we have been missing until it

(Maybe) the brightest future will
always be based on a forgotten past;

after all, you can't go on
successfully in life until you let go

of your past mistakes, failures and

(Maybe) you should hope for enough
happiness to make you sweet, enough

trials to make you strong, enough

sorrow to keep you human, and enough

hope to make you happy.

(Maybe) the best kind of friend is
the kind you can sit on a porch and

swing with, never say a word, and then
walk away feeling like it was the best
conversation you've ever had.

(Maybe) happiness waits for all
those who cry, all those who hurt, all

those who have searched, and all those
who have tried, for only they can
appreciate the importance of all the
people who have touched their lives.

We will only live once but once is enough if we will live it hatred, no regrets, no what if's, no maybes.

Let Me Share

Let me share you this thought from a friend of mine. I was chatting with him a while ago when he suddenly popped up with this advice. Thanks po
"shed your tears to cleanse your heart but after that, cleanse your thought by accepting and moving on"
We are human and each of us has our own emotions. I admits mejo iyakin ako even some petty things naiiyak agad ako. I cry when I'm tired..physically and emotionally tired. I cry when I'm hurt much more when "heartaches". I cry when I'm disappointed. I cry when I'm overwhelm, symphatizes, and even movies or mga simpleng tv shows. Pero di ako iyakin ha
Its fine to hard it is pa. Don't think what other people will say against you; they don't know exactly how you feel. But after the rain the sun will come out again. Welcome the new day with smile. Wipe the tears, stand, and move on

Heart Me at Thursday

I was in a hectic pace this week, although I used to worked under pressured & stressed team this week is different. Two days in a row I worked until 10:00 p.m and almost asleep when I got inside the car going home. Just last night knowing that its the last day of the week although I'm tired I appreciatively watch the scenery in Corniche road...parang kagabi ko lang nanoticed ang mga ilaw sa corniche. When I reached home at the door wayI noticed that the light was turned off and its not usual unless nobody at home.

I was surprised when I saw that our christmas tree is already arranged but since I'm excited and super namiss ko na rin ang magayos ng christmas tree inayos ko ulit yung mga christmas balls and ribbons. Super nakakarelax talaga..nakakapawi ng stress. I heart the Christmas tree on our living room talaga especially when its lights are open.

grrrrrr....I'm hungry!

Kk on the rescue...super namiss ko ito and sa office pa lang gusto ko ng kainin pero naisip ko na di ko maappreciate kasi ang nasa harap ko pa rin is isang tambak na documents. Donuts and coffee match perfectly to eased my hunger and cravings. Super I heart KK talaga.

I hope everyday something will ease the stress, pressures, and tiredness I got from the office. Simple things heart me

Right Track

I thought I will be on the right track today.
Before leaving the house as I usually do I send a prayer but while I'm inside the elevator I asked Him to give me more patience. I left late last night at the office and still my desk is the same...paper everywhere; in short messy. I'm not used of working in messy or crowded desk mas nakakastress that's why I make it a point to maintain my desk clean & organize as possible but yesterday di ko na nagawa yon.
This morning when I reached my desk, turned on my PC and read my mails. Ohhh..a mail from "lolo". It's nice to read messages or even a simple email to those persons you really know na nakikita yung worth mo di ba. A simple email from him extending his regards to whole staff of the department...what to expect from my colleagues e sympre pa super natuwa sila and can't control to make comparison again to "tatang". Aside from simple regards "lolo" also gave me yung diary na ipinadala sa kanya ng isang company thru courier, so I have 2010 diary na...hehehe
My so called assistant is absent today..I can't blame him naman e siguro super napagod at nastressed na rin sa dami ng trabaho na di lang urgent kundi "instant" kailangan. I don't have any choice kung di ako yung gumawa ng iba nyang work...hayyyy, wish ko lang matapos ko itong mga documents ko na 3 days na yata dito sa desk ko!
Even the cleaner sa CR she noticed din pala na di na ako nakakapunta don usually kasi after lunch break ako nagpupunta but this week around 3pm na siguro. She asked me if I am absent yesterday...hayy at least she noticed me na di nya ako nawawala ako.
Around 11:00 am this morning, inside the CR I found myself praying...emotionally praying & asking Him to give me wisdom to finish everything today. And when I returned to my desk I heard myself humming one of my favorite song. I feel relieved because I know that He will lead me through.
I can say I am on a right track now....

Lead me Lord, lead me by the hand
And make me face the rising sun
Comfort me through all the pain
That life may bring
There's no other hope
That I can lean upon
Lead me Lord Lead me all my life
Walk by me, walk by me across
The lonely road that I may face
Take my arms and let your hadn
Show me the way
Show the way to live inside your heart
All my days, all my life

Refrain: You are my light
You're the lamb upon my feet
All the time my Lord
I need You there
You are my light I (just) cannot live alone
Let me stay
By Your guiding love
All through my life
Lead me Lord
Lead me Lord Even though at times
I'd rather go alone my way
Help me take the right direction
Take Your road Lead me Lord
And never leave my side
All my days
All my life
You are my light
You're the lamb upon my feet
All the time my Lord
I need You there
You are my light I (just) cannot live alone
Let me stay By Your guiding love
All through my life
All through my days Lead me, O Lord Lead me Lord

Something to Ponder: TRUST

The week is not yet over and Wednesday is favorite day but today is different. I don't know if only because I'm stressed and pressured on my work. Last night before I go to sleep I planned everything that I'm going to do today as yesterday I was whole day busy doing just an "extra curricular" work. But it seems that what happened yesterday will be more stressfull today. I already used of too much workload and working under pressure but what I'm not used is working for those people who wants all things from us is "instant" and people who are talking to their staffs sarcastically. I know its not nice to compare thats why we are not comparing "lolo" from them because "lolo" is uncomparable.
My prayer as this moment:
Lord, give or extend the patience within us. Control our temper and may we stay calm as you are during those times that the evil is provoking you. Amen

Thank You

THANK YOU might be one of the shortest word but its very meaningful. I found this picture at "encouregement today" and I find it cute. Appreciating all the things done  to us is just a two words to be returned. Complimenting us and  making our day is just  two words to utter for them to feel the same way. Its not hard to say THANK YOU but as I observes many people are still not used in saying this magic word for all the good things  that was done to them.
THANK YOU, for reading this  entry :)
