Blooming

Today morning when we are heading to office, usapang blooming naman kami. Blooming as in not the temporary blooming ka lang today or yesterday but yung blooming meaning "peak"

May mga times na maririnig natin "ang ganda nya nung bata sya" or "mas gumanda sya nung lumaki" meron naman "mas gumaganda sya habang nagkakaedad sya" Every person has its own beauty, hindi dahil hindi sila ka pansin pansin sa mata mo ay hindi na sya maganda. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder nga di ba. But do you know that there is Someone na maganda tayo sa paningin Nya?

While waiting for that time enjoy the beauty that you have, be joyful everyday and that joy in your heart will surely radiates on your face.

Imagine yang mga flowers🌸 na yan uulan, aaraw, magwiwinter at magsusummer pero those flowers will bloom sa itinakdang season ni Lord para mamulaklak sila. Ganon din tayo 😊
Wait for your season, wag mong pangunahan si Lord sa itinakda nyang season para magbloom ka.
Uulitin ko ha, maganda ka repeat after me: I am beautiful. I am wonderfully and fearfully made by my Creator, Lord Jesus Christ.
God bless you

Elegance

I'm back!
Yup I know I was dead for few days or a week in blog sphere. I was and still busy for so many things. I hope I can find time to tell it all to you. But for now, let me share you another place to eat and unwind this coming weekend.
Last Friday I had a great weekend with my cousins.
Our first stop is at Elegance Beauty Saloon. After working all day in a month, we deserve to pamper ourselves at least a hair treatment or a pedicure with massage. Since 2006 pa ako sa Elegance, I tried other saloon pero mas gusto ko pa rin sila kaya sila pa rin ang binabalikan ko. If you're working abroad and you have limited time like me hindi mo na talaga magagawa pa ng magpedicure or makutkot ng kuko mo, so kahit "mejo" expensive according to some e talagang go ka pa rin kesa naman sumakit-sakit ang ingrown mo sa paa di ba. Well, we really to invest few pennies sometimes for grooming ourselves or if you can do it by yourself, then just do it.

Don't spot the difference cos nothing has change :-) I just have a pedicure and an eyebrow threading.
If you want to have some girly grooming this weekend, don't miss to visit them
From the last signal near to Al Mana Tower (in front of Toys R Us Al Sadd) make U turn then take right before Toys R Us, go straight and you'll find them on the left side, may katabing clinic.
You can call them also for your inquiries: (00974) 44318335
Oopps I forgot to tell you, men are not allowed inside the saloon. So for gentlemen, you can just stay on the nearest mall or coffee shop while waiting for your girl.
Grooming oneself doesn't mean "kaartehan" its just taking care of yourself.

Up Close & Personal

photo by SF Marvin Francisco - April 7, 2013 @ Mark's Birthday Celebration

What you feel inside will always reflects in your eyes - mine is HAPPINESS.
I don't have much material possessions that other people have but having a simple and peaceful life with my family, friends and other people who loves me is enough for me to be happy and joyful. My life is not perfect as nobody have; there are some problems along the way but I trust GOD is bigger than any else.
Thank you Lord, as YOU ARE ENOUGH FOR ME and your JOY is my strength.

I am Beautiful

At home at last! - I mean to this site
I was in a while wandering to post my sentiments, emotions, and other updated activities to other site.I'm back!
But first, let me say a BIG BIG THANK YOU to all people who appreciates all my post and even send me messages that my daily dose of post in Facebook inspired them. All the messages and comments that I received is my inspiration to continue in sharing my past & present experiences, my sentiments and emotions in life, my blessings whether its in a form of raindrops or storms, I want to share it you guys not because I am proud on what I had or have but because I want you to let you know how good life is despite of all the imperfections that it brings. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Not every person you've been with, likes you. Let's admit even the person you've been working for years or decade, meron at meron pa rin na ayaw sa'yo, I mean not the total you..hmmm,maybe some of your attitude or the way you are or even the way you look or dress, jologs ka nga for them. Some people will try to do everything just to please them, just be "in" in the group. Some will change for them in order for them to be accepted - yung trying hard lang naman, yung nagbago ka para hindi sa sarili mo kundi for them, in short "pilit" lang.
There's nothing wrong in "changing" but hopefully you're doing it not for others solely but most especially for yourself. For how many times I encountered and meet people who had a big change or should I say it as improvement in their outside appearance, lifestyles, and even attitude.

Scene 1
People in the office are talking about the latest fashions, newly opened hotels & restaurants, hi-tech gadgets and of course di ka papahuli so since may credit card naman kaskas dito kaskas doon, pagdating ng pay day nakasibangot kasi halos walang natira sa sinweldo.
LIVE ONLY ON WHAT YOU HAVE. If time comes na mejo maluwag na sa budget at kaya mo na then go, hindi masamang makiuso at maging fashionista, what I'm trying to say is live accordingly so in the end hindi ka magsa-suffer.

Scene 2
Most of your friends are drinking, they love partying and they cannot say that the night is a night until no vodka, whiskey or whatever alcohol drinks on the table - and you na walang kaalam-alam sa mga inuming alak, I mean hindi ka naman umiinom talaga pero hindi naman pwede na sa bawat labas ng barkada is water or juice na lang ang oorderin mo,kakahiya naman kalalaking tao mo pa naman. NEVER EVER COMPROMISE. Whatever your reasons why you're not into vices - drinking, smoking, gambling, etc. you don't need to twist it just for them. You cannot reason out na pinipilit ka nila kasi kung ayaw mo talaga walang pilitan na mangyayari. Stand on what you believe in. Hindi maiiwasan na magkaroon ng mga party and gatherings and most people who are with you are drinking liquor, pero you have a choice naman lagi - if sa palagay you can't refuse na mapainom ka then don't go marami pa namang gatherings na darating.

Scene 3
Enhancing your beauty is different from surgery. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL ON WHO YOU ARE NOT ON WHAT YOU BECOME. I'm not saying na masamang magpaganda but self "beauty" improvement can be done without undergoing to beauty surgery. You are fearfully and wonderfully created by God kaya kung ano ka maganda ka talaga.

Self improvement starts with the attitude then it comes out. To have a good relationship to others, you must have a good relation with yourself first. To know and to love others, you must know and love yourself first.
God loves us in a very special and personal way!
Say these repeatedly to yourself and implant to your heart: I'm beautiful because I am fearfully and wonderfully made by the Lord. The Lord is my Creator and He created me like Him
Being yourself all times is the best asset you can have to be totally beautiful

Dress Code: Smart Casual

Parties are already part of the Christmas season. And since we have a lot of circle of friends, we have also different set of party to attend. Admit it or not we always wanted to be at our best in every party. One of the hardest thing to do aside from choosing gifts this holidays is choosing what to wear especially if the party required some dress code or theme.
This year I have few party to attend - BS Cellgroup party, Church party, Party with friends, Family party, and some are to be confirmed :)
And since I already left some of my dresses in Philippines the last time I went back for vacation, I need to find ways on how to achieve the dress code required on each party. Lucky me because most of the dress code required is smart casual.
The first time I heard "smart casual" I was also confused. I asked myself "is that same as semi-formal?". And since its "casual" some people think that they can wear anything they want as long as its decent.
Well guys and most especially party goers here are some suggestions to be at your best on dress code: smart casual.

FOR WOMEN

DO's :
mid length dress, skirt, jewelry, accessories, blazer or cardigan, clutch bag, hobo bag, shoes, ballerina flats

Blazer + mid length skirt that compromise to the color of blazer + white inner top + wedge shoes added by stud catchy earrings and small sling casual bag

long sleeved cardigan + slim fit trouser + ballerina shoes added by dangling earrings and watch to accessories and small chain bag for kikay stuffs

mid length dress (light fabric) + shoes + accessories and clutch bag

DO NOT's :
flip flops, tshirt, slogan or logos top, large tote bag, evening gown, sportswear

Tips:
You can use shawl to cover especially if night party and the venue is besides pool or outside.
Do not over accessorize yourself, you might look Christmas tree full of decors. If your dress is embellished with stones or detailed by ribbons, do not use necklace anymore. If you are wearing printed top avoid colorful necklace too, or if you think necklace is not necessary much better.  Avoid using sporty watches especially if you are wearing dress or skirt.
Bags & shoes doesn't necessarily have same in color but be sure the color of each other will compliments. Black is still the safest color for shoes and even for bag.
For make ups, use light shades only for day and bit dark in the evening , still it depends on your complexion.

FOR MEN

DO's:
jacket or blazer, cardigan or jumper, dark trouser, long sleeved shirt, tie (optional) , closed shoes, dark socks

long sleeved with tie coated by cardigan while you can use closed neck shirt on blazer

DO NOT's :
jeans, denim jacket, shorts, flip flops or sandals, trainers, t shirts, caps, sports wear, logos or slogans on the top.
When dressing a smart casual make sure that you look smart but not overly formal and make sure that your clothes are clean, neat and your shoes are polished.
Smart casual dress code craves for balanced, simple yet elegant, and pull together looked. You're attired must say "I've tried" and not "I've tried to hard" in short hindi mukhang nagpilit lang.
Smart casual code for me is the best dress code to have, its versatile - you can wear it in the party, work, even in watching movies or in a dinner dates. Whenever you choose smart casual you choose delicacy, charm, and sophistication.
Party doesn't always need a new dress or new pair of shoes, its just a matter of mix and match and following some tips on how to dress up in the required codes.
If you're not sure on what to wear in the party, don't hesitate to ask the host. Never ever out-dress the host, remember you're just a visitor and not the celebrant or the host of the event.
No need to spend much money just for one time party. Just follow the above tips and etiquette and I'm sure you'll make it on the party.
So what are you waiting for, buksan na si closet and mag-mix and match na :)
Happy dressing!
