Some People

People in our lives come go… We meet someone yet sometimes we loose the others.
Try to recall how you meet those persons that matters to you now…
Isn’t it amazing how you’ve been connected to each other?
Everyone we have or will going to have is for a purpose…
They may have a special mission in our lives…
A special role to portray in our story lives…
But whatever purpose they have to us,
Don’t ever miss to thank them for simply being them to us.
Don’t wait for tomorrow to thank them…now is the time J

“Thank you for having you in my life…for being simply you”

Here’s a poem I’m keeping for some times already, hope you can share it as well to those people matters to you

Happy Monday J
God Bless

Some People
By Flavia Weedn
Some people come into our lives
and leave footprints on our hearts
and we are never ever the same.
Some people come into our lives
and quickly go...Some stay for a while
and embrace our silent dreams.
They help us become aware
of the delicate winds of hope...
and we discover within every human spirit
there are wings yearning to fly.
They help our hearts to see that
the only stairway to the stars
is woven with dreams...
and we find ourselves
unafraid to reach high.
They celebrate the true essence
of who we are...
and have faith in all
that we may become.
Some people awaken us
to new and deeper realizations...
for we gain insight
from the passing whisper of their wisdom.
Throughout our lives we are sent
precious souls...
meant to share our journey
however brief or lasting their stay
they remind us why we are here.
To learn...to teach...to nurture...to love.
Some people come into our lives
to cast a steady light
upon our path and guide our every step
their shining belief in us
helps us to believe in ourselves.
Some people come into our
lives to teach us about love...
The love that rests within ourselves.
Let us reach out to others
and feel the bliss of giving
for love is far richer in action
than it ever is in words.
Some people come into our lives
and they move our souls to sing
and make our spirits dance.
They help us to see that everything on earth
is part of the incredibility of life...
and that it is always there
for us to take of its joy.
Some people come into our lives
and leave footprints on our hearts
and we are never ever the same.

My Heart Desire

What is God’s wish?
You.
       You are God’s wish.
       You’re His heart desire.
You’re His song in the morning.
       You’re His prized possession.
       You’re His treasure.
       You’re important to God!
       But not only you.
God wishes to love the people around you too.
If you wish God’s wishes, you’ll love yourself and others.
If you wish God’s wishes, you’ll love like Jesus.
 -Bo Sanchez-

Did you ever ask yourself how blessed you are for having all the things on your hand? And did you ask yourself what is the purpose of having those blessings?

Some people I am working with or being with sometimes is asking how much I am earning...if we have a family business or if I'm sending monthly remittances to my parents? In the end, what they really want to ask me is why its like its easy for me to help others...knowing that there will be some amount to be taken on my pocket.

Glory to God for giving me the desire of my heart that in any means even in a simple ways to be able to reach out the not so fortunate ones.

If others can why can't I.

God gave me people who really keeps on inspiring me. I am very outspoken how Kcat inspires me and continue inspiring me to help others.

Its within the desire of our heart.

I remember the story told by Carmela, my officemate about her mom. One time she got home and saw candle lighted on the table and asked her mother why there's no light. Her mom replied that the money that supposedly for paying the bill was lend to their neighbor because one of the member of the family of the neighbor need to be hospitalized. And her mom added that electricity is easy to replace but the life cannot. And she keeps on telling her & the other siblings that they don't need to be rich in order to help people but rather its the desire of the heart matters.

I will be in denial when I say that money is not important for an outreach activity to be possible. Others say its easy for me because I am working abroad...its easy for me because I am single and only supporting myself.
Money plays a big role in conducting an outreach activities but the desire of the heart is the biggest of them all to be possible.

Jessie, a friend of mine told me one time that I have so many work in the office for a purpose...its a blessings. Yes it is. Because of that OT pays I can reach out many people or if not many I can help to best I can.
Its not the amount or quantity of the gift you give but the love you put into it. Last October 22, 2008 when I made http://gsamaritans.multiply.com/ and a friend of mine asked me what do you get from maintaining that site? I know what he's trying to say if I'm earning from that site. I just simply answered I am not getting any financial benefits from that site; the only thing I am keeping that site is to help others to be encouraged & inspired for them to reach out others as well.

Helping others must be in silence. Honestly before when I was not in this ministry I believed that helping others must not be published or not outspokenly tell to others. But one time when I heard Kc Concepcion when she was interviewed regarding to her charity works she told that she is outspokenly tell it to everyone because maybe many people will be able to encourage to help as well. On my part, I believes that sometimes there are people who wants to share their blessings but doesn't have any idea where to start. So if they happen to heard it from you or to your friends you're also giving them chance to share what they have.  As I got from my multiply sibling Abhie, lets spread the good deeds like virus :) Why we will be shamed of telling our friends or asking support from them if its for a caused - a good caused.

Doing good things for others is doing better for ourselves. Isn't it feel good to know &to realized that you are blessed and you can share your blessings? Isn't it feel good to see the smiles and to hear how thankful those people to you in sharing with them your blessings? And isn't it feel great knowing that God put you in that ministry?

November 4, 2010 I was given a chance once more to share blessings as this is my heart desire

Vacation 2010: Things I Hearted this Week

There's no place like home talaga
Kaya naman halos lahat ng bagay sa paligid ko I really

At mas masaya kung yung mga bagay na yon is makukuha mo, matitikman o kaya mararanasan.

Super I hearted by these things this week

Chocolate Marble Cake from Goldilocks

Since I was in college I really love Goldilocks Marble Slice Cake. Everytime I had a chance to drop by on their store bumibili talaga ako...ang sarap kasi, hindi sya masyadong matamis compare to other cakes and the cake itself super soft and fresh na fresh ang lasa kaya siguro super nahappy talaga ako nung matikman ko ulit ang lasa nya

Room's Side Table

I love pictures & I love flaunting those on my room. There is a story behind those pictures and kahit pa yata ilang beses ipaulit sa akin ang kwento e kayang kaya kong ulitin. Pictures are full of stories...full of memories that really to be treasured.

Those 3 pictures (big one) on the picture was all taken a week after I departed from Philippines on 2006 while those on the small frames was taken in Robinson one weekend na wala kaming klase sa Masteral so instead nagmalling kami and napagkatuwaan na magpapicture..hehehe

Sungka

I can't remember the last time I played sungka. Ang naaalala ko lang is when I was in highschool binilhan kami ni Tita Mama ng sungkaan and nagshare kami ni Ate Mae (may cousin) and everytime na naglalaro kami lagi kaming talo kasi mukhang memorize na yata ni Tita Ma ang sungkaan..hehehe. Who says that sungka is larong pambata lang? its a game for all ages. Just yesterday super naexcite ako na maglaro ulit nito when I saw my cousins (the younger generation) playing. And since wala pa masyadong makachikahan sa cementery I played sungka muna

Baby Tee

I don't usually buy baby tees kasi bihira lang naman ako magsuot usually even casual day sa office I still preferred to wear a polo shirt or anything with collar but today when I saw the designs I really at napabili talaga ako

Super I love the printed words...and I really mean it. I am thankful that I am a Filipino

The first time I saw the design of this shirt alam ko na di ko na sya bibitiwan..hehehe. I love the unique design of African ladies...simple black & white then nabreak lang nang mga striking colors ng mga damit nila..nice di ba?

I know marami pa akong magugustuhan, matitikman, mararanasan o maaring balikan while I'm taking my vacation but for this week ito lang muna ang ishare ko sa inyo

Vacation 2010: My First Week

After stressful months being in front of computer, working hard for more than 12 hours a day…at last the time to relaxed and be with my family & friends has come. Last October 15, 2010, Friday I arrived in Philippines for my 1 month and 3 days vacation.

There’s no place like home.

Even I still have my jetlog and really tired from my flight I didn’t waste any chance to send SMS to my friends that I’m home!

Super I miss everything in our house and really excited to sleep with my bed again.
October 16, 2010. I get up as early as expected to think that I sleep morning already J. One of the things that I really miss is my mom’s coffee. She used to make coffee for us every morning that’s why when I worked in Qatar I really missed it. My Lola Viring, my dad’s mother visited to our house first together with my other cousins. After eating our lunch, I asked my brother to drive for me and drop me to the parlor.

Usually I go to the parlor to fix my hair at least one week before I go back to Qatar but this time it’s top on my list….ayaw ko nga na pangit ang hair ko sa mga pics..hahahaha. I stayed at Index parlor until 10:00 p.m. Thanks to Daniela who did my hair. And since I am the last customer and they are almost closed and just waiting for me to finish I was not able to have my foot spa.
Super thankful din ako when my friends called me na kahit naman nasa shower session ako ng hair ko is talagang super chicka ako..hehehe. Thanks Ian for making calls straight away from UK and to Jun as well.
October 17, 2010 Sunday, we attended Sunday Worship Service, I was overwhelmed after a long time I was able to be with my family again attending the service. For almost two years I’m going to Church with no one…one time nga when I saw one brethren with her mom in the Church parang napaiyak ako coz I’m missing my mom. I testified how God works to me while I’m working in Qatar and until on that very moment..what to expect crayola na naman ang beauty ko,hahahaha. Late afternoon after we went to Robinson’s I asked my personal driver..hahaha,just joking my brother to drop me again at Index for my footspa.

I love red ribbon, every time I’m coming back in Pinas the next morning first stop ko talaga is Red Ribbon but since I had no time to dine in I just bought super delicious pastries and cakes nila. I can’t resist their banana cake and cinnamon roll…really my favorites.
October 18, 2010. It’s a stormy day! But it didn’t stop me to be out J I visited one of colleague family. I met Kuya Roly’s wife & kids…I really enjoyed chickahan time with them. Then after that I go straight to SM to meet one of my very good friend & former officemate Beth J. Since most of the food chains are full we decided to eat at Chowking….breaded porkchop meal. I love it!.

One of our favorite bonding talaga is malling kaya naman go talaga kami. We bought the same shoes…

Meeting new friends is one of things that I really look forward on my vacation.

October 20, 2010, without any advanced planning I meet Jessie. After I visited my DILG family, I meet Jessie and kahit mejo maulanpa that time we went to Tagaytay…as in hindi naming alam kung san ba kami sa Tagaytay pupunta buti na lang marami na pa lang mga activities na iniooffer ang Picnic Groove. He was not able to convinced me to take zipline. But for the first time in my life I tried horseback riding…although nakakatakot enjoy naman. I hope the next time that I will try it I can do it on my own na at wala ng guide..hehehe

October 21, 2010, when I was still planning to meet Kcat in person without any hesitation (kaya?hahaha) Jessie offered to accompany me to Kcat’s place but since his car is coding we decided to bring our car. He told me that he’s not used to drive manual car but we still try pero unfortunately he can’t make it and since we really want to be with Kcat, he called Kuya Bong, his brother to drive for us. Super thanks talaga Kuya Bong for making it possible to meet Kcat.

October 22, 2010 Its a rainy day! I stayed at home but didn’t waste any time. Since this is my first time na magbakasyon ng hindi December ngayon din lang ulit ako nakapaglagay ng mga christmas decors, datirati kasi ako lang ang tagalinis ng mga decor pagsasapit na ang January but this year ako ang naglagay

First week pa lang yan and I know marami pang memorable & treasured moments na darating…there’s no place like home talaga! As one of my friend told me on SMS I will start to love Philippines again…I do

Isang Tulog na lang

Isang tulog na lang sabi nga ni Mhaya
Early Friday morning ang flight ko to take my vacation sa Pinas. This is my first time to be back home na may kasabay . I will be with my cousins Iyah & Les and my officemate friend Jen. At least I will not be bored waiting for three hours na magisa sa airport.
Although excited ako na magbakasyon na, hindi ko pa rin fully maramdaman ang excitement until hindi ko natatapos ang office works ko...hay exhausted na nga yata ako and super stressed talaga. I don't have any idea pa kung kanino ako maghahand-over nang mga work ko--well kung sino man sya I really wish him good luck.
My bags are not yet packed...isa nga yata sa pinakastressful kapag magbabakasyon is magimpake, although I sent some of my stuffs through air cargo I still have excess baggage matapos kong matimbang ang mga natirang gamit ko. Thanks kay Jen coz she allotted me 10 kilos sa bagahe nya. Sana talaga there will be no hassle in checking in our baggage bukas.
Nakakastressed man ang mga preparations to go back home I know and I'm really looking forward that it will be a happy & memorable vacation for me.
I want to have quality time with my family sympre bonding, eating together, pasyal, shopping with my best shopping buddy--si Mommy. And going to church together na super namiss ko talaga.
Meeting new friends like Jessie, Joanne & Joseph pati sympre si Baby JJ, and meeting Kcat and her mom.
Visiting children of LPPCI and sharing some stuffs to them na alam kong magbibigay ng magagandang ngiti sa kanila.
Bonding with my cousins...
Being with my friends and former colleagues...
Shopping...malling...and planning to take a driving lesson,hehehe
I'm looking forward for so many things. And i'm crossing my fingers that all of my plan will be happened accordingly.
So if ever manahimik muna ako sa "e-world"...alam nyo na ang dahilan, I'm on my V-DAY!

How Far You Can Do for Giving?

Sometimes we don't mind what we have, maybe because we are used of having or receiving those things. Some of us don't care how much it cost until we found out how important to others the things we are only taking for granted.
Let's value what we have because we're not sure until we can have them - maybe there will be no tomorrow and we regret that we slip them on our grip.
How important to you the things you have now? Can you sacrifice to loose those things for the sake of others? Are willing to share some of what you have at this moments for others to be happy?
Almost two years ago when I met Angelo, a pre-schooler then. But what I've learned from him is a lesson I will always cherish in my heart and in my mind.
I'm hoping that many of us will be inspired to simple lessons from a young boy
I'm always believe that its not how much you do but how much love you put in doing.
We are blessed...
Let's share our blessings...

My Eid Holiday 2010

Eid is the only holiday that I'm really looking forward every year.
Three consecutive days without work :)
That's why I make it a point to maximize my time and plan what I must do with those days.
This year...

A night @ Souq Waqif

Souq Waqif is the old market of Qatar that was remodelled and now its one of tourist destination. You can found a lot of restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops.

Since some of my friends in the office haven't been in Souq Waqif I asked them if they want to take a tour until we found out that all of us have one thing in common we are all "single". Most of my friends in the office are already married, I think its the first time that I go out with all single company.

Its a "gala" day

Eventhough I'm on holiday I don't want to waste my time just lying on my bed, so even I have no work I still wake..maybe an hour late from the usual. Since all of us in the house has no work, instead of cooking our breakfast we choose to dine out. Chowking is still close so we choose Dairy Queen instead.

After eating breakfast, we went to city centre to buy some stuffs and since I will be going for vacation and I'm planning to take a home theatre with me back home, I bought it already.

Baby sitter of the day...

The next day, my cousins have work already (as I choose second set of holiday), I woke up early clean the house and since Aleeza, daughter of my cousin is still vacation I asked her if she want to go with me at the mall. Well, this is my first time to be a baby sitter...as in only me and her from 10:30 to 3:00 p.m at Landmark mall.

A night with friends...

Evening of the same day I attended the wedding reception of my friend at the office Ate Ge. At last, she got married at the age of 4_, hehehe. Really I am super happy for her and wishing them a blissful marriage life. Glad to see also my god daughters...its like a children's party on the wedding reception.

Fix it girl!

The last day of my holiday, I just stayed at home but its worthy :) why? because I had a chance to arranged my closet, bags and other stuffs. It took me almost whole day arranging all of my stuffs. Tiring yet I'm fulfilled :)

Mielle's Day...

The holiday is not yet over since its Friday on the following day. After a successful worship service at the Church just stayed at home and take rest. While me and my cousin Les are just lying our bed, we recieved a call from our cousin inviting us because its his daughter 2nd birthday! Super family bonding with my cousins and really like the face painting I got.

I really enjoyed my Eid holidays...simple yet for me it has something to cherish & treasure. And speaking of holidays I'm looking forward for a longer holiday next month coz its gonna my vacation in Philippines! I'm soooooo excited.
