Qatar Freebies: Everyday is Gifting Day!

Social media aside from connecting people all over the world is a great help to those who want to earn while just staying at home or while engaged in other job or part timers.E-shopping is very in demand nowadays especially to busy people who want to go on shopping but lack of time to visit malls.
Aside from personal account we can see so many sellers in Facebook from clothing, jewelries, furniture and even foods, but did you see any account that instead asking you to buy their products they are the one who will give you what they have for FREE? Yes as in not even a single coin you'll drop because its FREE!

"ONE MAN'S JUNK IS ANOTHER MAN'S TREASURE"

I' m talking about Qatar Freebies.
This is a group site in Facebook wherein you can give away any of your unwanted things like furniture, clothes and apparels in good condition, medicines or some food to help other who are in need. If you are an OFW based here in Qatar and you want to give your stuffs this is a the right group to join.
The site is exclusively for "kabayans" only meaning for Filipino nationalities only. Although we know that even some of other nationalities are extending their hand in giving but this site is solely created for us only. Others kasi are thinking we are begging to have some stuffs and we are using this site for that purpose which is hindi naman talaga.
Nakakatuwa di ba kahit saan talaga magpunta tayong mga Pilipino and by any means kahit sa modern times na ngayon hindi natin sasayangin para gamitin ang mga social medias to reach out and help others especially our fellow Filipinos.

How to find Qatar Freebies?
All you have to do is to sign in on your Facebook account, on "search" box type Qatar Freebies, just click it then click the button "add/join". The Qatar Freebies administrator will approve it and you'll will be automatically added.

Rules and Regulations of Qatar Freebies
Here are from Qatar Freebies site:
3. Kung may alam kayong libreng mga sample items or at libre tikim or subok, sige lang ipost natin para marmaing makinabang.
4. Tindahan na may "SALE", "MIDNIGHT MADNESS" at "PRODUCT PROMOTIONS" ,kung saan tayo makatitipid or makakalibre.

Last week I saw that one Filipina is giving away new cabinet kasi di magkasya sa room nya and it really look nice, other naman is a mother giving a new can of powder milk kasi nagkamali ng bili si husband nya kaso nabuksan kaagad ni Yaya :-) so instead nga naman na walang makinabang why not ipamigay na lang di ba. Others naman are giving furniture kasi magpapalit sila ng mga gamit sa house or others uuwi na sa Pinas for good.
When we are receiving anything sympre gusto natin in good condition so dapat ganon din tayo kapag nagbibigay, hindi yung "patapon" dapat yung mapapakinabangan pa po talaga ng iba. Kung alam natin na di na naman talaga magagamit don't post it to the site.
Sa Qatar Freebies everyday is Christmas! :-) araw-araw ay pagbibigayan. So if you are based here in Qatar and you have a Facebook account naman, then JOIN NA!
Happy Gifting!

Just Simply Click and #Maring

How many storms and typhoons and other calamities and disasters Philippines had been through? For every new storms and typhoons are new fears and worries how to survive and move on to whatever harm it may cause.
The first time I learned about the heavy rainfall I thought it was just an ordinary rain like any other kasi naman rainy season naman talaga sa Pinas but when I called Mommy on Friday August 18, and she told me that is non-stop already. Although we're leaving in Batangas, which is happened to be included in the list of areas where the typhoon will pass I'm not that worried cos I know hindi naman binabaha yung place namin. But like what happened to Ondoy in 2009, just a heavy hard rainfall that lasted in few days and the next day halos buong Metro Manila na ang nakalubog sa tubig.
Thanks to social media sites, even I am away sa Pinas I can be updated on what's going on - from the time they declared that SLEX is not passable already...
And all the other areas are already drowning in water....
In time like this that the only source I have is whatever I can watch on the net and the initial help I can do is to pray and to share information posted by others. But good thing even we're far in just a click we can help to disseminate information.
Here are some info-graphics I've got from several social sites that can really help a lot.

If you want to check all the status or updates posted on each category you can just type for example: http://reliefPH.com
Government officials and some prominent personalities from politics and showbiz used social medias to spread updates too.

For the complete list of evacuation centers and relief operations, check the link mentioned here:
DSWD on behalf of Secretary Dinky Soliman is appealing for help to all volunteers...
And here's another tips from Rappler.
My personal pasasalamat to rappler talaga kasi talagang updated and detailed ang mga articles nila. More power to you guys!
These are only few information that can really help us and our kababayans. It doesn't mean na hindi tayo apektado ng baha or ng ano mang kalamidad is wala na nga lang tayong pakialam. We can do something even in our own little way. By with our fingertips and laptop we can spread information, kung yun ngang mga simpleng jokes lang naiishare at nai-ihashtags natin, e bakit yung mga kapakipakinabang na inpormasyon hindi.
For how many times social medias moved for us. Noong panahon ni Ondoy at ni Sendong nagkaisa ang mga Pilipino, nabuhay ang bayanihan, marami mang nasirang ari-arian at nawalang buhay pero muli nating ipinakita na may pagkakaisa tayo, well let's do it again. By simply sharing some informative  post through social medias and by using hash tags + code we can help, we can save life.
And more than anything...

God bless Philippines
God is in control....

Feel Good Anyway

Blogging or a casual writing for me is my outlet to express what I feel and even what I'm thinking. I started writing on 2006 but still I'm not a pro in this field, for me its just a casual writing.
I received comments and compliments every now then but in blog sphere you where you can bump and meet people you don't know personally you can also received critics - I got one and I consider it as constructive one.
This site is a personal blog site - my own personal views, photos, and if sometimes I borrowed some information I make it sure to quote it or linked it. Honestly, when I am writing I don't expect if others will perceive the same emotions I have when the time I wrote the article or the story. I don't expect other to value what I've done as I value it. I'm not a mindful person in the sense that I don't mind if a person will appreciates me or not or if people around me will love me for who I am or the way I carry myself . Does it make a sense to mention here? Hehehe. So what;s this all about Jen?
Yesterday, one of my "critic" dalawa na sila ng Mommy ko hehehe, but don't get me wrong he is a friend of mine. I consider him actually as a good friend inspite and despite of my other sentiments toward him...hehehe now he knows. I received a message from him regarding on the post I published. He read it on FB and the caption on my FB goes like this
Food + Picture = Food Porn
And here's the link if you doesn't read it yet :  The Foodies, The Food Trippers and The Food Porn
I used to write my blogs impromptu, I mean directly from my computer in a clean page. I don't used to have draft. And if I didn't finish and publish it at the same time I just delete it. So whatever I wrote is from what my mind is thinking at the time I am writing it.
Ok back to the reason why I am writing to you this today. Back to a friend of mine, as I was saying I received a message from him telling that I should use other word to replace the word "porn". Honestly, hindi ko kaagad nakuha why I should replace it. On the first place my idea upon writing the subject is all about food terminology craze. Honestly, I used "porn" not thinking of any other meaning. From the time I used the word, I'm thinking porn as a synonyms of "publishing" " viewing" in tagalog "hayag" "lantaran".
After I listened to him, I was enlightened and that's the idea behind this post :-)
I learned few things upon what he said to me why I should need to be careful in picking words. Pwede nga namang "food2graph" instead "food porn"

Few things I realized and learned....
1.Writing skills is a gift from God and it must be use in a good purpose - not to destruct ones mind nor others' personality.
2. Although blog is just a casual article and its more on personal views and opinions, I must be responsible how others will grasp the idea I'm trying to point out.
3. Giving personal views and opinions must be always in a mannered way.
4. People will compliment you how good you are or the article you wrote but accept also that some will not like you, others will hate you or criticize your works or sometimes they just being too personal. Be ready Be open minded to whatever you'll receive in response to your article. Face the consequences if there will be any.
5. Blog is not like a tabloid newspaper that almost all are rumors on others life. Your blog or whatever you post will reflect on your personality.

Guys, if in any manner I offended you for using the term I sincerely asking for an apology. And assure that I'll try my best not to repeat the same.
Everyday we encountered people in different ways, and I always think that God send them to me for a purpose. Just thinking if I ever received any compliments from the same person? as far as I remember "no" well that's maybe his purpose in my life - to be my critic, a constructive critic.
People will criticize you for two reasons - to push you up or to pull you down. They will criticize you to show the mess you've done or for you to realize that you can still improve your work.
I am thankful I have friend (s) and people around me who is so loving and caring in reminding most of the time.
Criticism isn't bad at all, its up to you how you will take it or respond on what others trying to say about you, better to tell it directly that you'll learn after na kung kani-kanino na pala sinasabi ang mga bagay about you, at least if you know may possibility ka kaagad na gawin kung anong pwede mo gawin over that thing.
But be noted critics never ever criticize someone if you don't know them well and if you don't understand the situation.
So I hope everything will continuously to be fine. If you have any comments or every post I am posting or even the old ones , you are free to put comment on the comment box or you can email me at:

Thank you guys for sparing your time reading my blogs ^_^
Have a great blessed day
God bless us all

Open Letter to a "Girl"

I was almost whole day away from the net yesterday. Since its Ramadan, our bible study timings was also changed due to conflict on the schedule of others, so instead of Thursday night, we held it on Friday afternoon.
Last night while I'm browsing I saw that almost only one name are on my news feed, well its not the first to see postsssssssssss from her. And as I go along reading her post nakakagulat na makita how angry, bitter and even with grudges yung mga post nya, I mean at her age! Hindi ko talaga mapigilan na magcomment sa post nya and I can't help myself to pity her parents. This might be one the bad influence social media can do to children today, habang palulong sila ng palulong sa mga new gadgets connected to e-world madali rin silang naiinfluence in bad ways.
Parents, hindi po dahil nasa bahay lang ang mga anak nyo at hindi nakikibarkada sa labas or naglalakwatsa is safe na sila; even those social medias through the use of gadgets and internet can poison their minds, can ruin themselves. Without proper guidance and supervision coming from you dear parents and guardians the mind of your children might be corrupted - movies not suited for children are just one click away, music that can influence their feelings can be heard in just one click, talking with strangers that can harm them in any way is just a click away. Social medias can help or destroy its user, and for children who are still vulnerable it can destroy if there will be no proper supervision from their parents or guardians.

Dear "Girl",
Hindi ko talaga nagustuhan yung post mo last night, how you brag on your wall the treatment you have with your mom. I'm not sure if intentional or not na magpost ka ng mga alam mong makakasakit sa ibang tao. What do you feel and how will you react kung sa'yo gawin yon?
You are loved and blessed. You have a complete family, a life that some of your age can envy, you have almost everything you want - shelter, food, private school, gadgets. If ever na nagkulang ng pagmamahal at oras ang parents mo siguro naman hindi yon reason ang pagpopost ng kung ano-ano para makakuha ng atensyon sa ibang tao right? sino bang ipinapahiya mo sapalagay mo? sila ba or ang sarili mo? You can many likes and comments from your FB friends, masaya ka ba na natutuwa sila na binabastos mo ang sarili mong mga magulang lantaran talaga. Wag mong i-reason out na bata ka pa, we all know na alam mo na ang tama sa mali. Minsan na kitang pinagsabihan if you remember the post you made for Dad ang lahat nagulat, ang dami mo ngang natanggap na comments, pero di ba mas masarap makatanggap ng comments kung instead na pinapangaralan ka is pinupuri ka? What my point? Simple lang: RESPECT, LOVE and OBEY YOUR PARENTS and even people around you, kilala mo man sila or hindi.
You are loved and blessed and sana naman matuto kang magpasalamat at mag-appreciate na kung anong meron ka.
Love,
Ate Jenjen

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother” (this is the first commandment with a promise), “that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land.” - Ephesians 6:1-3

Hayss bigla kong naisip ang hirap talaga sigurong maging magulang.

Lord, continue to mold me na maging mas maging mabuti pa po akong anak kina Mommy and Daddy and if You'll give me a family of my own, give me the courage and strength to raise my child/children according to Your will. Amen

Selfie Saturday

How you're weekend guys?
I know I owe you doses of post continuation of Katara gala, Dubai tour and for those who are asking me my post about the site tour at Hamad International Airport I did with my co-Procurement ladies last July 3, I'll try to post it within this week (hopefully).
For now let's hit the Saturday with a SELFIE SATURDAY :-)
Recently you can see so many photos in different social medias featuring their own self that's what you call "selfie" - photo taken by one own self capturing his/her own face.
Ayon sa aking friend na si Wiki -  A selfie is a genre of self-portrait photograph, typically taken with a hand-held digital camera or camera phone. Selfies are often associated with social networking and photo sharing services such as Facebook, and Instagram, where they are commonly posted. They are often casual, are typically taken either with a camera held at arm's length or in a mirror, and may include only the photographer or other people as well.

I love photos but I'm not really into "selfie". I'd rather take picture without myself and just the view, but don't get me wrong guys if you enjoyed taking selfie there's nothing wrong with that, its you.
I'm about to grab some selfie pictures from my friends album just to best describe you what are the kinds of selfie we see often, pero ayaw ko naman mademanda ..hahaha, I'd just get some photos publicly displayed in the web.
Here are some kinds of selfie that I know and commonly displays on social media sites.
Selfie in bed
"Good morning" or "still awake" are the usual captions you can read from selfie pictures taken in bed. Honestly I don't see the point of taking pictures on bed, ni hindi pa nga yata nakakahilamos ng mukha picture picture agad -agad.

Still awake? e paano ka nga makakatulog nyan kung ang inaatupag mo when you're in your bed is magpicture ng sarili...haysss, picture picture din sabay "good night".
Selfie in car
Stuck in traffic in a car? naka-red light buti na lang my camera phone....picture picture muna :-) Guys, if you love to take a selfie picture in the car still focus on the traffic light, baka mamaya naka-go na pala picture ka pa ng picture...
I hate myselfie
Bored, emo, stressed, sick...selfie pa rin? This one ang hindi ko ma-get ang point bakit you still need to take picture of yourself when you are not feeling good then post it for your network's viewing. Duh?! you're asking for sympathy? well if yes I don't think its the best way to have. Isn't it best to have a selfie when you're happy and well?
Dressing myselfie
Almost all the dressing rooms in the mall have mirror, so thanks to them, for without them dressing myselfie will not as successful as you see on your news feed.
So what's the purpose? hmmm maybe they just want to ask their friends approval before buying the dress - if the fit is fine to them or if its worth it on its price.
Let me try this next time :-)
New look Selfie
Newly cut or dye hair, its either still on the parlor facing the mirror and taking his/her own self then upload and post agad-agad :-) I tried it before but that is due to boredom for 8 hours sitting in front of the mirror while hair treatment is on going.
Foodie Selfie
One of the famous selfie that you can see, so don't be get surprise when you see someone who's taking the picture before eating - the background are the foods or the name of the restaurant or hotel. Hmmm..maybe they just want to take a souvenir photo of what they have on their plate that day :-)
OOTD Selfie
This is one of the famous selfie that you can see, even the celebrities are doing this OOTD - Outfit of the Day. I've been reading few blogs and most of them they have OOTD selfie picture almost everyday. Hmmm..I guess having an OOTD selfie will only push you to buy more and more clothes...sympre parang artista lang matatandaan nang mga network friends kapag nag-ulit ka ng outfit, yet on the positive side you will always desire to be at your best.
And how about this one...
Myselfie at the CR
Thank you again sa mga naglalakihang mga mirror mirror on the wall you can take a whole body picture of how you look like that day. But don't be surprise if you ended to see a bath tub or wash basin as background- its part of their drama.
Some took a myselfie  at the CR usually if their first time to be in that place like hotels..hmm I did it but its not selfie cos someone is holding the camera for me. :-)
These are few "selfies" that we commonly see on social media posts. Honestly sometimes I find selfie post as ka-OA-yan lang, just to post something but I have said I'm not that against on selfie post maybe it because of the captions indicated that's why minsan nakakainis ..hahaha, nainis daw talaga ako bigla :-) Take note guys "selfie" doesn't mean a solo picture but even in a group and you took a picture by just holding the cam/camera phone including you.
I've got selfies too :-)
How about you, do you have any selfie photo?
Its not bad to have once in awhile, wag lang sana lahat ng post selfie kasi baka instead na "selfie" matawag ka ng "selfie-sh"
Happy Selfie Saturday!

Happy Social Media Day!

Social media really go far, its everywhere and in everyone. Its already a part of ones daily living. It can make our lives easy but on the other hand it can break us as well.
I'm a late bloomer when it comes to social network sites. I got my Friendster account a year after it was introduced to the network sites. My best friend Ian introduced it to me, thanks to him and thanks to Friendster I was connected to old classmates and friends. When I arrived here in Doha I was exposed more to social network sites, to what they called E world; working abroad where one of the outlet to let the time pass and avoid homesickness is in front of the net. 2007 when I gave birth to my "Treasured Moments" on Multiply. It became my e-diary and e-albums. I met my multiply siblings that until now I'm keeping not only in the e-world but in real :-) one is my kumare pa. You can check HERE. 2010 when I opened another account in Multiply, not for myself but for kawanggawa / charity purposes. All the fundraising campaign para sa mga charity projects na ginagawa ko or sinusuportahan ko, I stored it there. All the pictures and stories behind every outreach I posted it there. Everyone can view it. And that was the start, I used it as a tool to voice out the needs of others and to reach out them in my little way. I am blessed with people from different places, from different walks of life - they become my inspiration that I can do things beyond the expectation that money is the only source to help others. I will always be thankful that once in my life I lived in Multiply world. Last year all the personal accounts were closed and on May 31, 2013 marked its total closure of its operations. Although I was not able to saved all the photos and posts I wrote there I will always cherished that once in my life it became a part of me.Thank you Multiply, you've been a blessing to me!
November 2010 when I activated my Facebook account. I owe it to a friend. I had my account since 2008 or 2009 but I decided to close it for a personal reason. Thank you for a friend who made me "kulet" to activate my account again. I was able to reunite with my old friends even those of my elementary years, I had to know people from different parts of the world :-), I am updated to what's happening around the globe, and in a way of posting inspirational and encouraging words we can help others who are emotionally troubled.
2008 when I first signed in here in Blogger, "Outspoken Mind". This site is for my views only - o di ba talagang e-diary ang peg walang ibang nakakabasa except me. You cannot search it sa goggle or even if you type it on the search box ng kahit anong site. It was closed for any view. 2009 I disclosed it to some of my closed friends and just this year 2013 when I fully opened its access to everyone. This blog is my outlet to express my feelings, to raise my voice by giving my opinions and views, to reach out and help people in little ways that I can. I was on and off before in visiting and writing in here and early this year when I told to myself that I should keep on writing in here. Honestly, I'm not even sure if someone read my posts but its fine with me, anyway I'm doing it for myself, until I received comments to the posts I made, comments from friends, colleagues and even to the people I don't really know and doesn't have any idea where they are living. Well that's the essence of social network - malayo ka man malapit ka pa rin. I'm not a professional when it comes to this craft, I'm just a hobbyist playful blogger who loves to tell story through writing, I enjoy what I am doing, its a medication for me, I can express what I feel - not being mean to anyone and "if" ever I did I really doesn't mean it. For a hobbyist in this craft like me, receiving comments from your post is like a reward. And all the comments I received here, sobrang napapasaya nyo po ako :-) and I truly appreciates you here in my site, even a single visit ^_^
May 19, 2013 when I write about the project of National Bookstore - PROJECT ARAL 2013 and to my surprised, talaga super happy ako when I received this comment yesterday. I have no idea how Ms. Bea learned about my post. I even checked into the net if Ms. Bea is from National Bookstore Foundation and yes she is!
For some it is OA to still post this one, you might say its normal cos you're blogging - well whatever your opinion is, that only remains your opinion, this is my blog anyway :-)
And just this morning I noticed that I was up to #218 out of 8000 blogs registered on Top Blogs. Thank you dear readers you made it possible :-) I started two months ago - I was not even in their 2000 until after weeks I was included on 1500 then go up and up. Not bad for a hobbyist. Thank you again readers :-)
On social media we have voice, it maybe small but what matter is we did our part. We cannot change the world but at least we can help to make it a little better, and if you can't, at least try not to make it worse. We are unique from each other and each one of us has its own talent that one doesn't have, so why not try to use it - malay mo may gift of writing ka pala so instead na nakaupo ka din lang sa harap ng computer mo at naghihintay sa kachat mo why not to open a blog site, who knows you will be the next influential blogger. We cannot know until we didn't give it a try. In any field all we need is to first try the from then we can see if it is for us.
Bigla ko lang naisip si Dr. Jose Rizal how he used writing as his weapon, and today we have our stylus and keyboard that we can use as tools. It might be even sharper and mightier than the sword. But always remember, USE YOUR POWERS FOR GOOD.
Its sad to know and to read some blogs that really maliciously published - ang sosyal mag-away ng iba talagang kailangan gamit ang world wide web! Big time. Kaya if you have blog sites, FB or any social network you have be sure that you'll use it for good. Be responsible enough, it doesn't mean that it is yours, you have the right to hurt other people through your words.
Lets make the world a better place through social media
Happy Social Media Day!
