Love Day of a Single Lady

While almost everyone in the office was rushing to go home last Thursday, February 14 I'm one of those who choose to stay in the office and treat the day as ordinary.

For me every day is a love day and I can celebrate it as much as I want. Even its a tradition to celebrate it every 14th of February I'm not religously celebrating it talaga...not because I'm a single pero kahit before I don't celebrate much talaga the "valentine's day".  Kaya usually ang February 14 ko nagiging its either early or late celebration (in short hindi talaga sya "valentine's".

Let me just share you what and how my what so called "Love Day" was celebrated.

Kakatuwa lang the clothes I was wearing last Thursday is the same top I am wearing last February14, 2009. Any shadess of pink as they say is the color of  Love Day for single - "happily" single. I don't usually fond of wearing pink but I just noticed that I feel younger than my age whenever I'm wearing ..hahaha makapagpink na nga lang lagi :)

I always received lots of warm greetings whatever the occassion is. I feel so loved by my family, friends, brethren, and even ordinary people who are just besides me. Sa mga taong nag-greet thanks sa warm greetings and to one and only person who send me SMS to greet me, thank you for spending riyal to text me. You're always appreciated :)

Since 2010, February 14 is not as simple "valentine's day" for me, it become more special because of the friends I had and still have right now - my Super Friends

February 14, 2010 - the first coffee date

We started in just a cup of coffee until the warm friendship grows on and on. I really love coffee dating, I really believe that in every coffee date I have it has a magic - the friendship.

February 14 will always reminds me that one "love day" I met so people of different character yet bonded together with love, care and friendship. I'm really thankful because they are part of life, they are really a blessing to me.

Receiving something from my boss as a Vday token is really unexpected but he did...mababaw lang ako I can easily be happy in simple things, I always keep in my mind that its really the thought that counts :) Pink chocolates and greetings from my boss well appreciated.

Spending the night until early morning with my Bible study cellgroup completes my love day. Being with each other to end the day made me feel so blessed - praising and worshipping the living God. God's love for us is the greatest love of all.

February 15 It's a Church Day!

The worship hall is full of love as always. I am really blessed on the message delivered. 

I John 4:13-21

"This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.  And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.

God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

We love because he first loved us.Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister."

God is love and we are children of God, so we must give love as well to others, not only to the people we know personally but even to the people we doesn't know by name, even the unlovable person we know. We are commanded on His word that we must love one another, in such way we will be recognize by others as God's disciple. Let's spread love :)

Every moment that we're together is a love day. Having a family away from home is really a great blessing for me. It's been quiet some time since we go out together and we take this opportunity to spend time together. In time of any occasion, the family is still the best! Although my Doha family is not complete, there's still so many occasions to look forward being with them.

 Every woman loves to receive something on every occasion...hmm the only thing I'm not sure is how they appreciates it, hehehe. It's been few months since I last gave something to myself. I may sounds selfish for others but I do really love myself - pampering myself and giving gifts to myself, before I really have guilt whenever I bought something for myself pero naiisip ko why should I, I worked for the money I am spending and I deserved to have  those stuffs after a long hours of working. Hug and love yourself! I'm not saying to spend "much" but singles have control as well, know your budget limit specially girls while on shopping - may bukas pa..hehehe

Giving gift to ourselves is the best gift we can receive. Aside from we are sure that we will receive the stuffs we're really wanted, its fulfilling as well because we worked for it.
Celebrating any occasions doesn't need big preparation, it just depends on how you appreciate things and people to whom you're spending with. There are so many ways on how you can celebrate, its not the celebration that matters most its the people whom you celebrated with and the moments that you can treasure.
Every day is a love day so let's make each day full love by sharing to others.
